Synopsis "The Boy With 9 Lives & Some More (in English)"

...Bam! An orange urinal cake whizzed through our transom window and shattered on the floor. Toilet and deodorant smells swamped the room. Ken dived for the door hoping to catch the culprit. He stared down the empty corridor. "Just wait till we catch you, you bastard!"...The Boy With 9 Lives & Some More is book 2 of Da's Secret Diaries - From the trials of Teachers' College I ended up in a ghost town. To escape, I married Angela and fled to Sydney. There a diabolical doctor led us on adventures that we shouldn't have had. Short of money we moved to a one-teacher school where I learnt to ride a horse, be chased by police and vigilantes, and to excavate a grave.A promotion found me in the desert town of Broken Hill with a troop of Sea Scouts and a scary, fainting night in the cemetery. Teaching an OA class resulted in a reprimand by the District Inspector so I sought the sanctuary of St Mary's Convent which was inhabited by a ghost. A rafting expedition restored my reputation.A family need forced us to Forbes where a no-nonsense, compassionate Bishop found us a monastery to live in with statues guarding our marital bed. A student who saw blood on the wall caused controversy in the school.Moving to Tamworth we were ambushed by a fox, and an ex-prisoner stole our safe. Brother Meh convinced me it was time to relocate interstate and suffer the consequences. Those consequences form the basis of my third book: The Geriatric Backpackers. Angela and I still fight but we fight holding hands.
