Synopsis "The Attic: A Short Story (in English)"
The short story, THE ATTIC, involves the mystery surrounding the locked door on the top floor of the Parisian Hotel located in Paris, France and owned and operated by a young girl's grandfather. The girl, Josee, had helped her aging grandparents, who took her in after being abandoned by her parents, with running the hotel. Following the death of her grandmother, a now ailing grandpapa, Josee assumes many of the tasks of running the business. The secrets of the locked room becomes more relevant following her grandmother's dying words to Josee,"Find the answer." With these word and her grandfather's vague answers to her questions and the discovery of the interest in the attic room on the 9th floor by a resident of the hotel, Mr. Dupree, sends Josee on a mission to find answers.
