Synopsis "The adventures of Rene Galan (in English)"

In 1972 he set up a duo with Carlos Boudet playing guitar and singing, his first professional work. By the end of that year, he met Emilio Estefan through his friend Rudy Ramírez. The three friends set up the "Miami Latin Boys" that two years later became "The Miami Sound Machine". First hit of the latter was the popular song "Renacer" (Reborn), lyrics in Spanish by Luis Serrano. The year 2012 ended fruitfully for him through the book "Navegante de Palabras" (A Sailor of Words), an anthology of the Literature Club, where in addition of infusing it with his poetical sentiment and an anecdotic tale telling, Luis contributed to the book with a lovely book cover. As his author, he narrates his personal experiences in quite an original fashion, enjoying the nostalgic feeling we all carry within us of those days of sweet memories. I have no doubt, dear reader: you will enjoy The adventures of Rene Galan.
