Miss Sarah loved gardening with her mother, but sometimes she wished for adventure. She liked to read, too, and her favorite stories were of princesses, giants, ferocious creatures, dangers, and daring do. Why couldn't she have adventures like those? Sigh! Princess Elizabeth lived with her parents, the King and Queen, in grand old castle high on a cloud. She had servants who were loyal and played with her whenever they could. But Princess E. wanted a true friend. Someone her own age who would sleepover, go on outings, and wanted adventures, just like she did. Why did she have to live so high on a cloud? She'd never find a friend way up high. Sigh! Then one morning Miss Sarah found a giant beanstalk growing just outside her bedroom window. She looked up but couldn't see the top. That part of the beanstalk was hidden by the fluffy white clouds that floated above the kingdom. What was up there? Was she brave enough to find out? Oh, she just had to be. So she climbed out of her window, and started to climb.
