Tha Gift & tha Curse.......the GIFT in this book, goes by the name of Dontrell, a young 8 year old tee ball player with dreams of one day making it to the Major League, but the CURSE is his Biological father, whom is only around as keeping his mother hostage, and out of the way of finding her own happiness, but when she does it happens to be one of her Co-Workers down at the Textile Mill, by the name of Marcus. Marcus whom one days dreams to become Plant Manager fals for her, but with her falling back & forth in the Games her Ex is playing Marcus gets kind of confused of where there newfound relationship could go while at the same time falling in love with Dontrell up the the point where Dontrell accepts him as his Father, but with Dontrell's father still coming around things get dangerous, and the Curse keeps exploiting the Gift to a point where he couldn't stand him...........
