In 2011, Cherielle was attending the Leather History Conference where the Carter/Johnson Leather Library was on display. She was looking at a book that had been created full of stories by Leather Women. Being a bootblack who adores history, Cherielle decided that there needed to be a book like that, but with stories by and about bootblacks. Tales From The Chair is the result of that fateful day. In these pages the reader will read about brand new bootblacks discovering their passion, titleholders sharing their journey, and even some experiences with bootblacks by non bootblacks. Enter into the world of eccentric, fun-loving, chocolate eating bootblacks and gain a new understanding of what makes these amazing people click. Also included are the results of a questionnaire sent out to the International Bootblack titleholders from all three contests. They share with you a peek into their title year, and share some heartfelt advice with the reader.
