Synopsis "Synergetics Systems Seminar (in English)"
"Synergetic Systems Seminar" is the full text of the beginning of a comprehensive Seminar designed in the final years of the late 20th Century. The Seminar was created as an outlet for sharing ideas, concepts, and techniques regarding alternative perspectives upon the reality, and the systems that monopolize, our lives. Charles envisioned the Seminar being presented for four hours a night over six consecutive nights for a total of 24-hours. Because he has a penchant for taking off upon occasional tangents when speaking extemporaneously, Charles decided to produce the Seminar word for word so that he would cover all of the material that he envisioned. As the Seminar unfolded, however, it began to take on a reality of its own, causing Charles to realize that in addition to being a verbal, teaching Seminar, that this production was also going to be a "show." As the entertainment aspects of the presentation coalesced in his mind, he became concerned about the physical and mental requirements of putting on this Seminar/Show six nights a week and then traveling on to another location to do the same thing all over again for six more nights might be a bit too much. The apparent "fix" for this challenge was to present the Seminar/Show one time for video/audio recording and then sell the resulting product. This idea carried its own challenges, however, in the realization of how much work and money goes into creating a professional audio/video presentation. So, the thrust of the energy for the Seminar began to shift to merely writing what he had to share in a book. That book will be entitled, "Millennium Paradigm: Explorations In The Dynamics Of Consciousness," (MP) and is in the early production phase. The Synergetic Systems Seminar, therefore, went into a holding pattern at about the 8-hour mark. After publishing his first book, "What We Believe That Makes Us Different: A New Thought Journey Through An Orthodox Land," Charles rediscovered many of his previous unpublished writings in numerous boxes, about 3 quarters of a million words, all told, or several books worth. He quickly realized that those writings were the foundation for the major volume (MP) that he has been working toward for decades. And he further knew that they were just the right fertile soil to introduce people to the modes of thinking that were going to make up much of this upcoming book. Gathering his talks, writings, and class material together, Charles organized them to create a natural flow that have come to be published in a five part series entitled "Journey's In Consciousness." In essence, these five volumes are the "homework" that prepares one to grasp the new perspectives that will be presented in the upcoming book, "Millennium Paradigm." The volumes in this series are I - "Growing In Consciousness," II - "Roots Of Metaphysics And Quantum Physics," III - "Dancing In The Spiritual/Secular Matrix," this current volume, IV - Synergetic Systems Seminar," and a soon to be released highly political volume tentatively entitled, V - "OMG He's Talking Politics." Because this volume has morphed into the forthcoming "Millennium Paradigm," it is a smooth introduction to that book. Charles recommends reading the whole series in preparation for "MP" because he has scattered nuggets of wisdom and other information through all of these volumes. However this volume can be used as a shortcut to preparation if all else fails. So sit back and relax and imagine that you are in a room full of people, or, if you choose, imagine that this is being presented just for you, and enjoy the "Synergetic Systems Seminar."
