What a terrible idea the Christian tradition is! It goes back a long way even before we were born. Someone thought of an idea, and over the years, it became something everybody needed. It replaced what the Lord had given us in the Bible. The point is, study the Bible and throw out everything man-made. The Bible is given to us as God's manual for living. If we forget to do something or fail to do what God commands, he will not bless us. But the trouble is, they have forgotten the words of Jesus who said, "May they be brought to complete unity." Complete unity? Studying the Bible means just that-complete unity to let the world know that God sent me. Study the Bible if you want to grow up and do the Lord's work. If you fail to do that, you are wasting your time. My work in theology and principles of behaviour is only as good as the scriptures I present. Why don't you extend my book and add more truths as you go along? This is what God wants you to do: read and study the Bible.
