Synopsis "Star Opening (in English)"
Sara Ann Dungan has enough to deal with at home and her kid sister without getting shot to another planet with all their problems. Besides the fact that he's green, her guide Camidon is plain rude. She thought he was leading her on the fast track to return to Earth. But dodging arrows and giant snakes seem all a part of his plan not to help her get home, but to rip control of their country from the upstart Lord Brock. The rebels are reasonably suspicious of pale Sara, and Camidon is torn between keeping his own promises or doing what logic would more reasonably dictate. The mythical Awkites seem the only answer - one hope for two paths. But can myths exist? Time is running out in her own world. Will any of this be enough for Sara to find her way home in time to save her sister?
