Synopsis "Sons of the Patriots (in English)"
In this is the third in a series of novels called The William Bell Detective Series, Bill is back from his honeymoon and he immediately finds himself investigating a right wing patriot group. He is hired to check if a husband is cheating on his wife and finds the true story is far more complicated. Robert it turns out is the leader of a patriot group that advocates arming and being ready for a revolt. But on further investigation it starts to appear he and another of the patriots are actually trying to get the group's members to buy guns they provide.Robert gives a speech where he says patriot groups across the country are arming for revolt. Donning his FBI hat, he teams with an ATF agent to disprove the mass action and get the goods on the gun pushers. In the end they are helped by a member of a patriot group Robert was previously with to help them get their collar. Many of the characters in this book are the same ones we met in earlier works. The story takes place in Eureka, CA and is faithful to the people and places of the town.
