Synopsis "Shootout at Lost River (in English)"
On a cattle drive through the Wind River country, retired Wyoming marshal Boone Crowe and his sidekick, Tugs Bigelow, stumble into a quagmire of violence. Two Chinese men, one dead and one wounded, lead them to Lost River, a coal mining town run by San Francisco pirate Captain Amherst Drake. Using forced Chinese laborers to work the mine, and reinforced with a band of cutthroats, Drake challenges anyone who gets in his way But this pirate has not reckoned on Boone Crowe, whose life of law and order was shaped by his time in the Civil War. No longer a marshal, he knows he has no authority or jurisdiction to force the issue. But Boone Crowe's type of justice rests on his hip with his old army war Colt, showing no tolerance for slavery of any kind. Out-manned and out-gunned, Crowe and Bigelow refuse to bend, and before the dust settles in the streets of Lost River, there will be bullets and there will be blood.
