A stand-alone tale, "SheGate" completes The Jason Loring Trilogy that begins with "Jason's Secret" in which Jason is 10 and desperate to hide his stuttering. It continues in "winning: a novel" where at 13-14 he searches for a place for himself beyond the town in which he lives. And in "SheGate," we notice he has become comfortable with himself even at his grittiest and that stuttering holds no more importance to him than the red hair growing on his head.The novella contains a section detailing the backstory of The Jason Loring Trilogy and a freely accessible link to a song composed by the author featured in this part of Jason's story.
