Synopsis "Sheep Farm: A Tale of the Kingdom (in English)"

In the storied tradition of novels like "Animal Farm" by George Orwell and "Moby Dick" by Herman Melville, my novel is an allegory that uses animal characters to tell a story. This story is about actual events in church history from the time of Christ to the reign of the emperor Constantine. The plot revolves around two young Wiltshire sheep and their journey to the land of the Great Shepherd. Subsequent conflicts with the goats and a new farm owner result in great changes in the social order of sheep and eventually among goats and men. The use of animal characters provides an unmatched vehicle for literary satire, parody and description. Many of the issues that the characters in Sheep Farm deal with are still issues in the church today. This novel is more than fantasy or a satire; it is a pointed social commentary.
