Synopsis "Second Part of Henry the Fourth (in English)"

The narrative that started in the first part of Henry the Fourth continues in the second part and witnesses the growth of Prince Hal from a mischievous individual to a diligent ruler. The Earl of Northumberland plans another uprising against Henry IV to avenge the death of his son in the battle of Shrewsbury. The ailing King tries to handle the situation by sending his forces, including the disorderly Sir John Falstaff, the constant companion of his son, to encounter the revolutionaries. The dispute continues but the King deals with a more pressing issue at hand ? to make his unprincipled son capable enough to undertake the responsibilities of the throne and restore law and order. Will he be able to do it?
