Tyler Greenlee walked into the vacant house to do a real estate appraisal and discovered a body hanging from the ceiling fan in the master bedroom. It disappeared before he could show it to the sheriff and they thought he was lying to get publicity. He was nearly killed when his truck was bombed more than once and he and the beautiful Sue Conners were nearly killed when she was trying to help him. Tyler discovered Sue not breathing at her home and was arrested as a pervert when police found him trying to resuscitate her with CPR. Lt. Kate Simmons, a deputy with the sheriff's department was almost killed while trying to help Tyler. He became fearful of trying to date.
