Later, he became an instructor of flying and desert survival to Omani Arabs. Eventually, the restless seas drew him back and he again sailed the oceans, this time in his own boat with even more adventures, and as a sailing instructor. He has again changed direction in life, but has not lost his connection with the sea, producing a revolutionary rescue device, the SeaStrop.
