Synopsis "Sarvice Mountain (in English)"

Experimenting with LSD, Junior Barker encounters the wrath of the United States Navy. In San Francisco he parades with the Hare Krishnas and meets two men who claim to be God. Driving a cab in San Francisco he feels threatened by the "Zodiac Killer" whom he meets at gun point on a Yosemite mountain top. Junior hitchhikes to Vancouver and gets scary rides with Hell's Angels and a children's clothing salesman who might be a serial killer. In Seattle he meets up with a group of misfits who are a gentle version of the Manson gang. After crossing Canada he arrives in Minneapolis to the tune of a famous song about West Virginia, his home. Home at last in West Virginia, Junior dreams that Sarvice Mountain is being destroyed by mountain top removal strip mining for coal. He and his girl friend Peaches take on the coal industry to save their mountain. The story ends in the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum.
