Sarah, having the gift of psychic abilities, is aware of an evil force abounding in the Clinic. She learns of five murders that have taken place and have gone unsolved, and the circumstances of why the Doctor's wife is an invalid. In the midst of trying to solve these mysteries, she falls in love with the Doctor's assistant, finds her unbeknown half-brother, deals with three gangsters and rights a wrong that the KKK has done to a black man that was in hers & the Doctor's employment. In the end, she solves more mysteries that she set out to do, almost losing her life in the process.
