Synopsis "Sappa Creek Road (in English)"
The violence and trauma of the Civil War has left Joab badly scared, with a deep longing for peace, tranquility, and someone to love. Sally has been devastated by the loss of her husband, who was killed during the war. Detta has moved to the little frontier town to escape a troubled past. Jack is attempting to put his life together after being part of a gun-running operation to the Indians. Add in a little boy, who loves to fish along the banks of the Sappa Creek, Indians who are trying to return to their ancestral homeland, a little Indian boy with a broken arm, ruffians who are determined to collect a debt, a couple of men who have escaped from jail, and a few other assorted characters, and you will be spell-bound at what happens as they all come together along the Sappa Creek Road.
