Synopsis "Running from the Moon (in English)"
On her 16th birthday, a witch living in New England is given a precious gift. On her 336th birthday she loses it. Three middle-school aged cousins are getting up to a bit of mischief when they make a late night visit to their grandparent's barn. It is strictly off limits, but the kids want to 'mess around' with their grandparent's massive display of miniature Christmas villages and model railroads. They don't anticipate meeting a centuries-old witch who blames them for causing her to lose her gift. She must get it back, and they are going to help her. Throw into the mix a Persian cat with a bad attitude, and a couple of unsuspecting visitors recruited to help, and suddenly it is a barn full of misadventures and mayhem. The kids and the witch are soon practically running against the time it takes the harvest moon to cross the October sky. This is a tale of thrilling adventure for a range of readers from middle schoolers through senior citizens-a bit of fantasy, reflection, excitement, and fun!
