As a teenager growing up in the cold city of New York, Sasha learns that the big apple isn't nearly as cold as her unsupportive mother and her non caring ways. Thankfully, her best friend, Brittani, is there for her in more ways than Sasha knows.A few years after the big move, Sasha doesn't let her past stop her from falling hard for Anthony, a local, typical dopeboy, who refuses to remain faithful to the naive Sasha. The affairs have been right under her nose, but after five years of being with Anthony and being in a different city, she doesn't want to be alone; however, fate intervenes when Sasha actually catches him in the act. When she shows Anthony just how tired she is, she loses her job and her man, reinforcing the fears she had all along. Sasha won't be kept down long, as a new career presents itself.
