Synopsis "Rising Demon: Darkness Ascending (in English)"
There is a part of the brain known as the Limbic System. It is a collection of structures that control everything from how the body regulates its breathing, through to sexual response. Damage to this area can result in dramatic changes to a personality; to the point where they cease to function within known acceptable human guidelines. The effect of a tumour in this area can be a slow descent into what is perceived as madness, and is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to treat with modern medicine or surgical procedures. Its location near the center of the brain means that ANY attempt to go in physically to repair or treat any damage is a very high risk operation. For a patient to emerge unscathed after such a procedure is highly unlikely, given that they may not survive in the first place. What you are about to encounter is a man during his descent into madness. While, on the surface, there will be many times his sickness is not apparent, underneath the damage is increasing at an alarming rate. What makes this a little more worrying, is the fact that he controls what is possibly the largest sexual social network the world had ever seen. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of souls seeking sexual gratification look to him to feed their desires. Given his inherent nature, he sees it as his duty to provide everything they need. He thinks he knows what they want, and, even if they don't, he will make it happen. How far, and how dark, can one man go? Feeling brave enough to find out?
