Shaykh Nadwi was a powerful, eloquent orator and writer in Arabic and Urdu. Many of his publications have been translated into English and other major languages.Abdul Kader Choughley is a South African Scholar whose major writings focus on Islamic revivalism (tajdīd) in South Asia. His recent work, Sayyid Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi: Life and Legacy has been translated into Italian. Another noteworthy contribution to Qur'anic studies is his comprehensive study of the tafsīr tradition in South Asia.
