This book is designed to serve as a field manual for researchers and students working in the field of forest ecology and management. There is a detailed description of forest types of Northern districts of Karnataka. Use of field inventory methods and satellite remote sensing techniques for precise estimation of above ground biomass and carbon stock have been described in detail.
