Synopsis "Ravings of an Internet Madman (in English)"
AUTHOR'S WARNING: I need to add an "Author's Warning" to the listing for this book. I'm also selling this book "on street corners" (not really, it's a phrase) and people who buy the hardcover copy of the book are reporting strange things happen after they finish the book. Some people say the ghosts in their houses become more active. Others report their views on things change. One person who read this from cover to cover packed a bag, told her roommates she had something to do and disappeared -- she just left for parts unknown. I'm serious. I've had everyone from very intelligent, very logical, science-based people to heavily devout Christians to New Agers to Gen X'ers read the hardcover version of this book and "things change" either too them or around them. It doesn't seem to as often happen for those who buy the eBook. Something about the physical presence of the book, once completely read, changes people. Look, if you preview the book, preview the eBook version. Amazon included a lot more pages in the eBook preview. But if you buy it, buy the hard cover. Things seem to go wacky to the lives of some people when they read the hardcover. I do know that the conversation I transcribed into this book changed me and the way I look at things. So what is this book? It's an interview. I was sitting at a coffee shop when a guy plopped himself down in front of me, told me I was going to record and then transcribe his words. When I asked him what he was going to tell me, he basically told me he was going to tell me how Everything worked. And then he did. He tore down sacred religious beliefs and reformed them into events that made more sense to the Scientist-Side of me than anything I had heard before. Amazing things were revealed about the three major religions that floored me. Scientific principles and aspects joined with the myths from ancient times so perfectly, I was often stunned at what I learned. When I could find references to what he told me, everything claimed was confirmed. If you read this book be prepared to be enlightened, offended and to learn stuff that will nag you when you hear the "same old topics" raised in certain places. You'll find yourself wondering why the people talking can't see the obvious answers to the things they are talking about. He made the man dismount the horse, he allows blindmen to see the elephant and there are "things" in here I never, ever imagined reading. In four-and-a-half hours, this guy transformed my understanding of, well, EVERYTHING in ways I never dreamed of realizing! When he finished he disappeared as suddenly as he arrived. I can't guarantee everyone who reads the hardcover will have more active ghosts, or you'll suddenly realize what your life is needs to change, but there are those who have and whose lives have been altered. Preview the eBook, but READ the hardcover. It's a heck of a trip.
