They represent the eternal fight of good versus evil. El Cadejo is eternal. This book describes issues of Race, Politics, History, Culture, Colonization, Indigenous Culture, Surrealism, and COVID-19.Throughout the novel, El Duende challenges his own father El Cadejo. El Duende develops the vaccine to prevent and cure COVID-19. El Duende is a ten-year-old, prodigy kid who came from a small rural village in El Salvador where he loved and admired the Flor de Izote and El Chipilin plants. His twin brother, El Cipitio, has already served as president of the United States and his mother became the first female Pope.
