Synopsis "Quigley's Demise: Rock Creek Montana (in English)"

This novel tells two stories in different time-periods, one about Vicki Henley in present time; the second about Quigley, and its' characters in an old gold mining town in 1896. Vicki Henley at forty-two, decides she doesn't like who she is and goes on an odyssey with Alex, her cat to discover her authentic herself. In Montana she falls in love with the beauty and magic of Rock Creek Recreational Area and decides to stay awhile. When she explores the last remaining and remodeled building of Quigley, her life dramatically changes. Etheric voices in the cabin command her to tell the true story of the prosperous, yet short-lived town of two thousand inhabitants. Responding to the challenge she rents the cabin and embarks on uncovering the mystery of what happened to the town and the gold. She is aided by her newly found, best friend, and astrologer, Susan, who believes they have knows each other in a past-life. As the towns' story evolves Vickie is tormented by voices and visions of the characters she creates. She questions her sanity but is driven on. After the first big snow storm, Vicki meets Paul, a retired mining consultant. They work together to fight a serious danger coming to Rock Creek. When she and the beloved canyon are threatened by a modern disaster she questions if history of the town will repeat itself.
