A novella with a difference! Based on a true story this short tale certainly taxes the imagination of the most creative reader. But stay with it and your faith in the authors' story-telling ability will be rewarded. Tim is a most unconventional hero. Married, he lives in a small terraced house in North London with a big mortgage. His thoroughly boring job as an administrator with an insurance company brings little satisfaction. Harry, on the other hand, is self employed and leads a luxurious lifestyle funded by the big deals he closes in all parts of the world. Harry persuades Tim to impersonate the owner of an oil well to help one of his many business connections keep his overdraft from being withdrawn by a bank manager who has not seen any funds coming into the account for a long time. For this impersonation to work, Tim and Harry have to fly to one of the Greek Islands and from there they end up in the Middle East. Unfortunately, it is right at this point that the First Gulf War breaks out. Will Tim find within himself qualities and resources he never knew existed, or will ...?
