Robbed of the legacy that set them apart as the descendants of Imrahn, the god of Battles, the Vaerhan of Nuria willingly contend with other nations in Myral as ordinary mortals. Their questors and kings guard against the seduction of the mysterious Art, and their laws and traditions condemn the smallest offense, even with death.
