Synopsis "Prissie and Me: Two Hot Weeks in Texas, 1999 (in English)"

Hang on to your hat! Prissie is going to turn the quiet little town of Joslin, Texas into a three ring circus with the announcement of her upcoming divorce. You will be on the edge of your seat as men risk it all and women lose everything. Prissie's sister, Ali has carved herself a perfect little life with a lovely place for everything and everything in its proper place. That is until Prissie decides to divorce Larry Joe. Ali keeps taking deep breaths and gasping for air as socially inept Prissie starts little nightmare fires all over town while she announces that she is divorcing and will be moving in with her big sister. And it isn't just Prissie and her tight fitting garments that is turning the town upside down. Well-loved and respectable Ali has to single-handedly manage a huge truck load of misfit relatives who can't stay out of the front page news and a mother who has been in "Europe" way too long. Good looking Cousin Harley Dean and Prissie's soon to be ex-husband, poorly educated and dyslexic Larry Joe keep the jail door swinging shut. Aunt Birdie tries to convince anyone who might listen to her about how her handsome sons are such good boys, but hospitalization and jail time is the norm as these good ol' boys regularly try to do each other in. These relatives' antics are just smoke and mirrors while Prissie steals the front page headlines time and time again. Can't Ali catch a break here? Not unless she out smarts her baby sister and that is something that has never crossed her mind, after all Ali truly loves her little sister and has always felt responsible and obligated to help her. That is until now! Prissie flips the very last straw by moving her two ill-mannered children, two crazy high spirited Springer Spaniels, an annoying yappy lap dog, an X-rated parrot and a stinky cat into Ali's sweet smelling home. What, no funeral? Well, yes! Unfortunately someone does die and that just could be the icing on the wedding cake for Ali. There might be a Go
