Synopsis "Prevahl is Watching (in English)"

His name is Remy, short for whatever. He's a self-made man who doesn't need anything from anybody, especially the Prevahlians. What the Prevahlians believe is nonsense to him. And he can't believe they could be so stupid to believe it themselves. He is smart-his IQ test says so-so he does not suffer fools at all. He is for himself and against anyone who gets in the way of satisfying any of his desires. He is on the outs with his wife, who he insults to her face, and the rest of society who's norms he flaunts and who's law he considers to be for other people, other lesser people than himself. He lives his life the way he wants unhindered by much of anything including people-after all, who are they to tell him what he should and shouldn't do? In short his life is just the way he wants it with no man, no woman, to tell him any different. Until, that is, someone appears who proceeds to do just that. Prevahl is watching. From the author of The Joining.
