Synopsis "Post-Existential Transhumanism: A Fresh Work of Holistic Philosophy (in English)"
Post-Existential Transhumanism is Spencer Ferri's debut work of philosophy. Taking a secular approach to philosophy, Spencer examines: metaphysics, epistemology, morality, purpose, ontology, meaning, truth and sense perception in order to form a theoretical basis from which to move off into a political, economic, social examination. This analysis is done in light of the so-called technological singularity and seeks to be a way forward through the upcoming digital revolution. The work is deeply concerned with moving past the capitalist-communist, left-right dichotomies which have embroiled this world for centuries. It argues for a new theory of objective morality - in fact a science of morality - which isn't reliant on objectivist, utilitarian or religious moral claims. It establishes a new law of metaphysics, an informational epistemology and a theory of prescriptive philosophy as a cure for dissidentism. It moves into a new theory of holographic, granular politics through technologically assisted anarchism and uses transhumanism as a means to move past the isolation and terror of existentialism towards courage in the face of ignorance and death. In that it examines such a wide range of categories rather than specializing in one category, it is holistic. Despite this claim the work itself is written in a natural language using logic, reason and evidence as its tools of choice.This author tries to use a minimal amount of philosophical jargon. When he does use jargon they are terms which can't be escaped due to the history of philosophy or the nature of the work. Where he creates its own terms he tries to be as simple as possible. The term of the title may be the most complex term in the whole text. "If you feel as I do: that the world needs to change, but none of the ideas currently in play are satisfactory; and that there is something great missing from our understanding of how to move forward safely into a singularity; then this book is for you. I authored this in the pursuit of the right, the truth and the good. It is honest self-expression. I purposefully avoided exploitative writing styles. I did not want to manipulate you.
