It also includes some early recollections of the times and people who lived in the area in the late 20's and early 30's. The sources for the information contained herein are the Jacksonville Beach News, The Official Atlantic Coastal Highway Magazine, Volume No.1 Number 2, April 1931, The Encyclopedia Britannica 1945 Edition, my Mother and my personal collection of articles and pictures.
