Synopsis "Pink Revolution (in English)"
Pierce Morrison Buckman is a United States Senator from Minnesota who is the standard bearer of the progressive left. He is a liberal leader. There aren't many with the same beliefs to lead. If he is serious about becoming a candidate for president starting with the Iowa Caucuses, he will have to do it with idealism, positions many consider to be radically liberal and grassroots hand-to-hand politicking. He is informed by a supporter, "You'll be compared to Karl Marx, not Groucho. Groucho...he was funny.'' Senator Buckman will need to create an inclusive Pink Revolution of believers in universal health care, defenders of the environment, LBGTQ rights, those skeptical of out-of-control defense and home security spending, gun control advocates and all reformers. A young staffer of the senator discovers pink is the color of caring, compassion, understanding and love. Pink is the color of giving and receiving care. Pink is the sign of hope. "Oh, hell yes, our guy, our campaign is pink, '' proclaims the staffer.
