Synopsis "Personal Politics & Ethics with a Pinch of Poetry: The Heart Wants What the Heart Wants (in English)"
Personal Politics & Ethics with a Pinch of Poetry commences by examining some popular myths surrounding freedom and security, and continues with a complete discussion of security. Next the book discusses the history of politics in the United States, voting and an examination of "Who should be in charge?" The last chapter discusses justice and the presence of both science and religion impacting formally and informally adopted justice standards. The book moves fairly quickly away from official government and other policy makers, to address personal political activity and ethical codes. As practical examples, I use the "Prisoner's Dilemma" game as discussed by Richard Dawkins's book 'The Selfish Gene", and The Sermon on the Mount as appears in the 'Bible'. Encouraging the reader to think matters through for himself, the book provides a solid jumping off point for personal tailoring of the conclusions where everyone has a different social experience within the civilization environment. Throughout the book the poetry adds depth to the prose content.
