Synopsis "P is for Poop and Pee Accidents: A Child's View (in English)"

Does your child have a friend, family member, or classmate who has poop or pee accidents? Would you like your child or children to understand more about bowel or bladder accidents? Are you looking for an engaging way to start a dialogue about these problems? I wrote this book to help solve these challenges. P is for Poop and Pee Accidents is a children's picture book in an ABC format. With delightful illustrations, this book teaches common issues in people with these kinds of accidents. A child who has accidents narrates this book from his (or her) point of view. Amy E. Sturkey, PT met an adorable boy with cerebral palsy and his family on a safari in Kenya. As she tried to help them, she realized that little information was available to help train pediatric therapists and to educate children and families about common childhood conditions and treatment options. Capitalizing on her 30+ years of experience as a pediatric physical therapist, Amy co-founded Gotcha Apps to produce educational products for pediatric therapists and their clients. She created an instructional Facebook page, a website, and a YouTube channel. On these platforms, she releases weekly videos to instruct therapists and families of children with developmental challenges. Amy won Outstanding Physical Therapist for North Carolina for 2016. Amy's newest adventure is creating picture books for children providing simple and entertaining information about common childhood disabilities. This book is the sixth in that series.
