Synopsis "Our Man in Estepona (in English)"
It's thirty five years since the Grand Hotel in Brighton was bombed by the IRA, but Clive Grainger, a former Scotland Yard detective, now idling away his retirement in Estepona, is drawn back to his old world of detective work on the death of his good friend, Jessica. Following a professional hit, Jessica's life becomes a mystery to be solved... Jessica, a mediocre, pleasantly ordinary, retired housewife is, or rather was, he discovers, nothing of the sort. At her demise, a tangle of lies and aliases, along with MI5 and MI6 involvement, unravels, slowly dragging Grainger and his old sidekick Glynn into the deep mire of police corruption and terrorist activity.
