Despite what many of us may think, there are many people who like nothing better than a good war. Politicians or despots usually find it quite easy to get one going but inevitably fall down on management and prove pretty useless at end games. A well run war can generate a lot of profit but can also be fiendishly expensive, what with the cost of arms and armies, and maybe even the odd nuclear weapon. But what if someone could arrange things so that millions of people would die without a shot being fired and no apparent government involvement?. Or to make it even better a war where no-one knew who the instigator was nor who was doing the killing. Now that is a nice scenario for somebody devious enough make a lot of money. Well someone has and it would appear that no-one of any importance saw it coming. That is until a British woman in the West Africa learns something she was never meant to know. She has to pass this information on but doing so brings danger to herself and others close to her. In the end, it will be left to the skills of an aging mercenary, a youth he picks up on the road and a couple of rank amateurs to prevent a catastrophe of truly biblical proportions.
