Her second collection "Song" published in 2000 was shortlisted for the Guyana Prize for Literature in the same year. Her first book "Come Fiah" appeared in 1994. " Notes of a Red Woman, Slightly Sane" presents Mohamed Martin's response to the life she has experienced in two continents over 17 years.
