Synopsis "Notausgang (in German)"

Angesichts einer Zwangsräumung sprengt sich ein an den Rollstuhl gefesselter Journalist in seiner Penthousewohnung in die Luft. Dieser wahre Fall ist Hintergrund für die fiktive Handlung des Theaterstücks. Der Journalist lebt allein und zurückgezogen mit einem riesigen Zeitungsarchiv, das zunehmend Besitz von ihm ergreift. Immer wieder denkt er zurück an jenen Tag in Beirut, seit dem er gelähmt ist. Vergangenheit und Gegenwart vermischen sich zunehmend, so dass sogar Figuren aus seinem alten Leben bei ihm auftauchen und er selbst zu einem Bestandteil seines ständig wachsenden Archivs wird.
