Synopsis "Not Still Dead (in English)"
Mentally Rick, a single father, is stretched to his limits. A corporate fraud case he testified for is heating up as the final court appearances have been scheduled. He is the star witness and the only witness. His son Nate is an amazing child who Rick continues to marvel over. When trouble comes Nate saves the day. The story begins at the funeral celebration of Rick's old friend Thomas. Thomas was the friend that was going to live forever, the friend who has all the charisma, the ladies, the looks, and athletic prowess most wish they had. But he was dead, still dead. Rick is not a ladies man and the only thing he knew how to do was shoot and he was particularly good at it. There was simply no one better at it than he. This came to serve him well but not in the way one might think. As danger approaches Rick hatches a plan to escape those out to do him harm over the water. It is a clever move that buys him time until caught on the open seas with a couple of friends and Nate by his side. Through dumb luck and strange developing skills Rick and Nate escape only to be ultimately confronted by the reality that they are fighting something so much larger than they knew. In the end love conquers all because after all Rick is not still dead.
