Foreign investment in New Zealand is generally welcomed and encouraged without discrimination. New Zealand has a sound financial system, and has made changes to its financial system to shore up investor confidence in the wake of the global financial crisis. Both inbound and outbound investment continues to increase. In international indices with investment related aspects, New Zealand consistently receives high scores.
