Synopsis "Myrna Did Not Know (in English)"

This story about love and adventure, starts with three very close friends, who all lived in New York, the original place of their births, where as little children, they attended church and school together. Among the three friends are two beautiful young women, both virgins and twenty six years old each. The third member of the trio named Andrew, is twenty eight years old. All three when they grew up, studied at the same university in the USA, and having just graduated, decided to have their holidays in Barbados. The plan was to return to New York, so as to pursue their careers as tennis players, a dream which they all shared from before they were teenagers, and throughout their time at university. Myrna the most experienced of the two girls, had a long standing romance with a studio recording engineer, who operated the establishment for his mother and father in Jamaica. Both sets of parents, and the nest of their families and friends, all took it for granted, that at some point in the future, they would get married. Andrew the man of the house so to speak, had for years been deeply in love with Myrna, but she had not a clue about his feelings, mainly, because he kept those feelings to himself, not wanting to risk breaking the platonic relationships, which they all shared and enjoyed. Jane the quiet and unassuming one of the party of three, had always been desperately in love with Andrew, from the year of dot, but she kept her feelings hidden, a legacy which she owed to her shyness. Their holidays to Barbados, due to some unexpected and eventful happenings, led them to South Africa, then back to Barbados, returning to New York, then on to Jamaica. And afterwards, returning yet again to South Africa, only this time to play professional tennis for a multimillionaire businessman, who owned a very modern sports complex, and he had two lovely daughters, but his wife who bore him the two girls died, when the girls were quite young. George Brooks is the name of this tycoon millionaire, and he brought in a house keeper, to look after himself and his two daughters, but she ended up doubling as his secretary, among other things. There are lots of tears and heartbreaks in this story, followed by marriage and happiness, but death also reared its ugly head, however, love had the last laugh at the end of the day. and triumphed magnificently. Notwithstanding, Satan had other plans.
