The book covers the author's personal experiences from commencement in the 1950's until approx. 2002 working in various Architectural and Project Management positions for practices both in London and Johannesburg South Africa. There is very little Architecture discussed as It mainly reflects the atmosphere of the times along with social activities and even a spell of Army National Service. There are many humorous anecdotes and, in South Africa dangerous incidences in Soweto. People in both countries' will probably recognise some of the practices and situations and will find it both interesting and very entertaining.
