MY FAMILY, MY FRIENDS, and ME, chronicles the life of a West Tennessean who grew up in Kenton, Tennessee, population 892, during the years; just before, during, and after World War II. Experiences that could have happened only in a very small town are described. Readers with a similar background will easily identify themselves with the life and times of the author. The author later attended School in Chattanooga, a military school, and then The University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he belonged to a fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha. Thousands of others will have had school experiences similar to the ones described...in this book; reading it will bring back many happy memories to these folks. The author's extensive travels are detailed in such ways as to help others make decisions for their own traveling. As the title implies, much is written about the author's family and friends. Several thousands of them are mentioned; in the book.
