I miss him every single day so very much....Yet I am thankful for every moment shared.My very first and only book to date, was written from the childhood memory as a little girl who grew up with a hard-working African American God-fearing father who was born and raised in the segregated south. Yet his experiences, creates a great backdrop for the positive way today in which I was able to interpret the world during my informative and growing years in the 1960s and 70s. As a result, when faced with various challenges in life to include racial challenges, I was able to cope with those challenges by the grace of God and the many prayers and selfless sacrifices made by my parents and others.The personal and spiritual characteristics identified in this book helps readers to understand the values of both child development and training as a parent. I share personal memories of my father's influence from various stages of my life while the country experienced a wide range of national, racial, and religious tensions during that time. Yet, I grew up believing all men (and women) were created equal, which afforded me the most wonderful diverse relationships with people from all backgrounds. This directly impacted my choices in life and decisions made as I grew older.The fascinating memories of a very wise, tenderhearted, and loving father who taught me about important lessons like values, character, and the real loving and trusting relationship I should desire to have with God are all outlined in this little book.
