Synopsis "Mushrooms: Landless, Nutritious and economics crop for folklores (in English)"

Mushroom have been used since early ages by man as food or medicines. The environmentally benign cultivation of mushroom requires no land. Three varieties of mushroom, Pleurotus sajor caju, Pleurotus florida and Agaricus bisporus, have been cultivated with treatment of Pyrite and certain trace elements. The investigation has been undertaken to see the effect of micronutrient on yield, Biochemical composition and nutritive value and also a special reference to limiting essential amino acid profile of edible mushroom. Agaricus bisporus is proved best species most extensively cultivated mushrooms accounting for world production of cultivated mushroom. Application of trace element and Pyrites shows the enhancement of protein, carbohydrate, fat, calorific value, limiting essential amino acid in sufficient quantity but still there is a wide information gap. Mushroom are well suited to supplement diets which lack protein and amino acids are called "Vegetable meat". Study suggest that pyrite might used for commercial production of mushroom to improve the lack of amino acid in folklore and meet out malnutrition. Variety of mushrooms are a staple of different culinary traditions.
