Mr. Buckley Meets the Dogs (in English)
Synopsis "Mr. Buckley Meets the Dogs (in English)"
Mr. Buckley is an orange barn cat who lives on a farm in North Dakota. He spends his days pouncing on crickets, playing with barn mice, and napping on a sunny porch swing. Life is simple. He eats well, sleeps often, and has an adventure or two along the way. He has made friends with the young family that helps manage the farm, the McNeals. They took over when Mr. Buckley's friend, the farmer, retired to Fargo. When the youngest child, Lizzy, is injured, the family takes a trip to the emergency room in Fargo and Mr. Buckley tags along. While there, Mr. Buckley meets his sheepdog friend, Pickles, and his son, Sprout. He also visits the farmer and they enjoy breakfast on the porch. Mr. Buckley is happy to see his friends again. But his friends need help. Spring has been rainy, and the Red River which runs through downtown Fargo, is rising. The aging water threatens the safety of Mr. Buckley and his friends. He is ready for an adventure and jumps into action, helping the people of Fargo prepare for a flood. He teams up with Pickles and Sprout to fill sandbags and keep the town above water. When Sprout accidently falls in the river, Mr. Buckley risks his own safety to help Sprout return to shore. In a battle against the currents and debris, Mr. Buckley conquers his fear of water to save Sprout and himself.
