Mothers are forced to reclaim the stewardship of the Earth and reconstruct human civilization by default. Male leaders are burnt-out with post traumatic stress, deceased, or unwilling-unable to lead. Mothers assume the management of their families, the human family, and rebuild the Earth. A new Matriarchy replaces the absence of male leadership. The Matriarch objective is to persuade that 'We are all family and we are one global family of caring people.' Matriarchal media proclaim a global commonwealth guided by local, national, and international Matriarchs. It is a commonwealth of shared resources, needs, and labor. The foreground message is: 'Love, sharing, rebuilding, peace, science-technology, and progress.' The background message is: 'Zero tolerance of abuse, violence, and war affecting all life, the Earth, and people.' A global labor shortage results from ten years of disasters. Matriarchs rebuild the population by saturating the media with news and commercials featuring erotic love. The new Matriarchy provides for human needs and requires human effort as ability permits, as would be the case in any family. The human family becomes a global cooperative. The search for renewable energy is the new morality. Energy technological breakthroughs on Earth pave the way toward utilizing the energy of the stars and the Cosmos. The lives of five families are followed as the saga of a new Matriarchy evolves. The Earth rebuilds. Energy science and technology leaps toward the stars and the year 2100.
