Well here I am again. I enjoyed sharing the stories from Middle Maddy with various reading audiences that laughed as it reminded them of their youth. I was overwhelmed by all of the positive reception from both young and old; and I'm so thankful that I was able to read my children's book at elementary schools, community events and at the Multi-Cultural Children's Bookstore located in Richmond, California. My many supporters, family friends, and readers made suggestions and I listened. My new book, Middle Maddy's Mad Summer, is more animated (thanks to my granddaughter, Macky, and my grandson, Jaxson), and it includes individual questions and open discussions. As Maddy grows up and explores her world, readers learn more about her and her antics. In Middle Maddy's Mad Summer, readers will find out Maddy's middle name...and guess what it is I'm now retired from my career as a Deputy Fire Marshal, so there will be more books coming in the near future.
